Ink Laboratory

Colour Management
Colour is tightly controlled from proof through to production using calibrated workflows and press standards. Lithographic Print
Cartons are produced using high-resolution lithographic printing, delivering sharp text, fine detail, smooth vignettes, and consistent solid areas. Our presses are configured specifically for carton board, allowing print, coatings, and cold foil to be applied in a single pass. This improves efficiency, reduces handling, and ensures precise registration – minimising errors and maintaining quality throughout production.
Embossing & Debossing
Embossing and debossing add a tactile, sculptured element to the carton, creating raised or recessed details that enhance the physical feel of the pack. Using precision engraved tooling, we can achieve everything from subtle brand accents to deeper textures – helping your packaging stand out while maintaining consistency across production runs.
Hot Foil
Hot foil is applied using heat and pressure with a metal die to create bold metallic or pigmented finishes. This process is particularly suited to solid areas and sharp detailing, and when combined with embossing, delivers a highly premium result with exceptional detail, consistency and impact.
Cold Foil
Cold foil is applied inline during the printing process, allowing metallic effects to be overprinted with fine detail and multiple colours. This enables more intricate designs, gradients, and efficient material use, while maintaining excellent register with the printed artwork – reducing alignment issues and improving overall finish quality.
Cutting & Creasing
Printed sheets are cut and creased using precision tooling to ensure cartons fold accurately and maintain their structure. This is critical not only for visual quality but also for performance – helping cartons run smoothly on filling lines and reducing the risk of issues during packing, transit, or storage.
Gluing & Finishing
Cartons are folded and glued on high-speed finishing lines with integrated camera inspection systems. This ensures accuracy and consistency at scale, so cartons arrive ready to run efficiently on your filling lines – avoiding costly downtime or handling issues caused by poorly finished packaging.
